After 48 hours of distrust Millie has finally gotten in her new bed.
She prefers small beds to large beds. I have a large pillow bed for her in the living room and I think she has been on it twice.

As bad as this looks it doesn’t seem to be bothering her. The drain comes out Tuesday, stitches come out the following Monday.

I just called the vet, Millie is up and has taken her medicine but hasn’t eaten much. I’m guessing her mouth is probably sore from the teeth cleaning. They’re probably giving her soft food but she’s never had that before. They are going to call me around 2 and let me know when I can come get her.

Millie Update
I just called the vet because I hadn’t heard anything… The vet said they got a late start, but her teeth are cleaned and they had to do one extraction because of a cracked tooth. They also had to put a drain in where the tumor was and want to keep her overnight. They will take out the drain in the morning and clean her up and i can pick her up around 2. Hopefully it will be earlier than that.
I’m very disappointed that I can’t pick her up tonight. I thought about going to see her but decided against it, she would just want to go home with me.

The vet is supposed to call when she is waking up. It’s 1pm now. Casey had Keelys teeth cleaned last week and they called her at 11:30. (It was a different vet). I overheard the receptionist say the vet goes to lunch between noon and 1. I need a phone call.
