Mexican Style Shredded Beef in the making
2 lbs + beef chuck roastput 1/2 cup salsa in bottom of crock potMix the following and rub on beef1 T ground cumin1 T ground coriander 1 T chili powder1 t salt1/2 t ground red pepper
put another 1/2 c salsa on top
cook on low in crockpot 8-10 hours

Ways I screwed this up before 8 am and am just now realizing
My contacts were blurry and I put in 1 T of salt instead of 1 t. 
The meat was marked ‘sell by this past Sunday’.. i bought it like Thursday. I hope it doesn’t kill me

  2. mjdoeslife said: So you bought it Thursday and THEN it expired on Sunday? You should be fine. Meat is ok a few days past the “sell by”. Of course if you still have leftovers this weekend I’d throw them out.
