.... and stuff

Tonight’s training said “swim” so I worked on getting more comfortable in the pool. Two weeks ago I didn’t know anything about freestyle and didn’t like putting my face in the water. I am mostly over the face in the water thing. I understand the physics of freestyle but I need to get comfort in the water before I start working on form. If I aim for perfect I get frustrated and quit. I know I’m coming way too far out of the water while breathing and sometimes I get messed up with my breathing and have to stop and tread water then start back. My pool is 12.8 meters long so to make things even I call that 12.5 meters. I swam down and back with a break at each wall 4 times so 100 meters total divided into 12.5 meter segments. It already feels so much less awkward than even last week.
